Stone & Terracotta
Marble, step aside: there are some new natural materials on the block that are about to steal your crown! Using the current minimalist trend as inspiration, stone, granite and terracotta are a great way to add textures to your home whilst adhering to a neutral palette.
Stone and terracotta materials are a brilliant example of what experts and betting is decors next big thing: rustic minimalism. Less clinical and more homely than Scandinavian minimalism, we can expect to see more natural and textured fabrics and materials.

A green table runner is a quick and easy way to add bright green to your home without breaking the bank.
Carrying on with the rustic theme is the return of reclaimed wood. Beachy, effortless and homely, this material provides a clean and neutral palette whilst adding texture and personality. It was predicted that 2017 will be the year of reclaimed wooden bed heads, palette furniture and wooden feature walls. Time to get DIY-ing!
Those who love darker decor: step away from the black! 2017 was supposed to be the year to embrace navy! Softer, yet still sleek and sophisticated, navy will make a classy addition to any home.
2017 was supposed to be a year for a new colorful conundrum is set to reign: Pattern clashing! Elle Decor claimed that the print clashing we saw on fashion week runways was sure to filter into our home decor.
